Ofcom allocates UK phone numbers to communications providers in blocks, and publishes exactly who holds each block. The guides below cover every allocated range at prefix level: which providers hold it, how many blocks are in service and what calls from it typically are. Geographic (01/02) ranges are organised under their dialling code — start from the UK area codes hub (4,326 ranges across 599 codes) or jump straight to a city, e.g. 020 London or 0161 Manchester.
Short codes such as 7726, 159 and 61016 are the exception: Ofcom does not publish them, so they are not in the data behind this page. We verified those by hand instead — see the UK short codes directory.
