Original data on UK nuisance and scam calls from the Use The Geeks phone-number checker: which number ranges people look up after an unexpected call, published quarterly with open CSV/JSON downloads and press-ready charts.
Around 1,500 people a day use our free UK phone-number checker to find out what kind of number just rang them. Each check is a small act of suspicion. Added together, and stripped of anything that could identify a person or a number, they show which UK number ranges phones are seeing unexpected calls from right now — weeks before it appears anywhere else.
We publish that data here each quarter under an open licence (CC BY 4.0), with the tables as CSV, the full dataset as JSON and every chart as a press-ready PNG. The same figures update weekly on each number-range page. The data measures lookup demand: it is not a count of scam calls and never names an individual number.
